CharlotteDuns
To extend my visa (417) I know one of the requirements is to of worked for 2 employers no longer than 6 months. I have worked for 1 for almost 6 months and I worked for a company for 1 day and got a payslip. Is this acceptable for when I extend my visa? VERYSTORMY
first, is your work within the definition of the specified regional work? Second does it total six months? The department will be very picky and may refuse if you are even a day out.
Peach
I think you have misread the requirements (not you VS the OP ): To apply for a second Working Holiday (Temporary) visa (subclass 417), you must: have complied with all the conditions on your first Working Holiday visa (i.e not worked for one employer for more than six months) have not previously held more than one Working Holiday visa have completed three months of specified work in regional Australia while on your first Working Holiday visa have not yet turned 31 years of age. Peach
The misread in that " I know one of the requirements is to of worked for 2 employers no longer than 6 months. " If the first six months was valid regional work, then there is no requirement to do another job. If the first six months is in a bar then the 1 day counts for nothing and she needs to find some regional work...
