Things which I require in order to settle down in Australia like the medical, PR card, Social Security, bank account, credit card, driving licence etc. Any advise on the being able to meet the points system is welcome! You need 100 points of ID for the drivers licence. We went into our bank and activated our account and got cards. Then went to Medicare and got that sorted (needing visa grant letter with full grant and letterhead). Then drivers licence after that. I have the PR visa, will be landing in Oz on 30th Oct. Thought that getting an Oz DL is one of them. On another note would an International Driving Licence help in the points?
