VERYSTORMY
Do you have visas? All academic until then. Cost of living varies from person to person a lot, so hard to say. Also QLD is a massive place - 5 times the size of the UK with costs that vary across it.
Bungo
Hi my family and I (14yr & 4yr) are looking to relocate from Scotland to Oz and looking at jobs, schooling in the Queensland area and would like more info on cost of living if possible. Thanks X There really is no standard cost of living and even a mathematical average is pretty meaningless. What you could do though is look at housing costs, because this tends to be the largest living expense for most people. You could check rentals and purchase prices on a website like http://www.domain.com.au. As far as anything else goes, you could probably take your current cost of living in £, multiply it by 2 - 2.5 and that would be the $ amount thee or thereabouts.
