Mike Q
Has anyone got experience of obtaining a contributory parent visa with a history of chronic leukaemia? I have CLL (chronic Leukaemia) having been in remission for over 6 years, and about to apply for a visa to allow my wife and I to join our two sons and their family's in Sydney. Thank you in advance for any help and advise. Mike
VERYSTORMY
Hi and welcome to the forum. When there are serious medical situations with visas it is vital you seek professional help. There are a couple if agents that are specialists in this area. George Lombard is one.

Every case is different and it is best to consult a migration agent in cases like this.

Alan Collett
Hi Mike. The extended period for which you have been in remission is positive in the context of meeting the medical requirement. I'm in our Southampton office presently, so feel able to call me to discuss. Best regards.
