orca
Hi We are preparing to apply for a 189 skilled visa under systems analyst. If my hubby gets a job - is there anyone checking it matches the original criteria e.g. What if he got a completely different job once there - how does it work? Not planning to put it would be useful to know thanks
Suzukiscottie
Once you get the visa you can work in any occupation that takes your fancy. Or not work at all if you like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
VERYSTORMY
You can all do what ever you want - work in a new occupation, retrain, go and study or if you have the money, not work at all.
Kenfrapin
Your 189 visa gives you permanent residency with no clauses on the kind of work you do or life you lead. The whole hassle of finding the right ANZSCO code, validating your experience/degree and so on was just the process of securing your 189 visa Once you have the visa you are like all other PR holders in the country, free to do anything you want and enjoy your life. There is no mention anywhere or restriction of any kind because your chosen code was a Systems Analyst. Once you land in the country, you can spread your wings and explore any avenue of employment, many people do TAFE courses and go into a whole new line of work.....it's a new start and a new life so make the most of it All the best KnK
