orca
Hi Sorry if this has been asked before but I can't seem to figure out from the government's website... At what point to you pay for your 189 Skilled Visa Application - is it when you complete an EOI? ..or is it once you have been selected to apply for your visa? Is there an additional fee for the EOI? Oh and is it advisable to start getting your qualifications recognised by Australian organisations before you apply for an EOI? Many thanks
GiveAGirlShoes
You must qualify before submitting your EOI. This means your skills must be recognised, your English test if taken must be passed, and you must meet all other relevant criteria. And don't declare points on your EOI that you don't have yet, just because you think you will have them soon. You pay when you submit your visa application Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
orca
Ok great thanks so: - we will need to get my husbands skills recognised before we submit his EOI ... and you pay not when you submit your EOI but when you are submitting your visa application fab thanks, that clears things up
VERYSTORMY
You will only pay the visa fee when submitting the application after invitation. But, you will pay for the skills assessment and English tests when you take them - before the EOI.
