Best Public Primary School in Sydney

Hi All,

 

Please suggest me which is the best public primary school in Sydney for 6 yrs daughter coming from non-english spoken countries? I just wanted to know which I should know before admitting her into any school.

There would be no single "best" primary school. There would be many very good schools out of the hundreds in Sydney. Do you know where you will be living? Each school has a defined enrolment catchment area.

if you may mention some of the school names then it would be great. I will be trying to rent out accommodation within the catchment area. The rental range preferably $500 per week.

There are hundreds of primary schools in the Sydney area.

There isn't just one! Most primary schools are pretty good and general rule of thumb is that if you wouldn't want to live in a neighbourhood then you wouldn't want your kids to go to school in that neighbourhood. Choose where you live based on where you will be working, what other sort of things interest you and your budget. $500 isn't going to get you very much unfortunately. The NESB will be dealt with at the school level but obviously speaking English at home and engaging in out of school activities with other English speaking kids will help language development
