alimal
Hi I have heard that if we register our dogs with the "Pet Travel Scheme" before we go to Oz we would be able to avoid the 6 months quarentine if we decide to return to the UK. Has anyone done this or know if this is true? Ali x
Guest shreerz
Hi That is true, you must have the clear rabies blood test before you go and keep your pet up to date with all their jabs (esp. Rabies) while you are in oz. My friend has just done this with her dog (just in case she needs to come back) i am doing it with both of my cats. Check out the DEFRA site or ask your vet. For more info.
