Cwebling
Hi, I'm after some general advice really. My family and I (husband and 2 girls) are moving to Perth in January. My husband is a qualified gas engineer and I'm a qualified veterinary nurse. Can anyone tell me what the job opportunities are for us, do we need to retrain etc. Also any advice on moving a family other side of the world. My girls will be 2 1/2 and 1 yrs old. Thanks so much. VERYSTORMY
Hi and welcome to the forum First, you might want to check out our sister site - Perth Poms http://www.perthpoms.com/ I am not sure about vet nursing, though I doubt there will be any retraining. Your husband though will certainly need to. I would look up the requirements, but initially, he can not work as a gas engineer. He can only work as a trade assistant - a bit like an apprentice.
