Loulou Posted October 17, 2015 Share Posted October 17, 2015 Hi all, After finally receiving our visa grants yesterday its time to get booking! We have decided that due to not having jobs to go to (mad I know) we are going to look at renting in the area of mandurah way. We have two reasonable quotes for a 8 wk stay at a house in Lakelands (which by what I can see in a 5min drive)and at the quest hotel. Can any one offer their advice on which one would be more beneficial. We will be using this as a base so we can explore the suberbs and get all the formalities sorted and while we look for long term rental! Que Sera Sera Posted October 17, 2015 Share Posted October 17, 2015 I live in Lakelands, it's the northern most tip of Mandurah. Downside we've nothing here yet. Two schools one private and public ( primary only) Shopping centre, restaurants etc are on the way but not until 2017. Quest you are in the heart of Mandurah, a proper holiday location. Shops bars and restaurants on your doorstep. So if you want quiet , Lakelands, if you want louder with stuff on your doorstep then the Quest. Que Sera Sera Posted October 18, 2015 Share Posted October 18, 2015 Might be worth trying Perth Poms, the sister site to this one as they are nearly all Perth dwellers.
