Contributory Aged Parent Visa

Can someone please help me my mum is Here on holiday for 3 months she has most of her family here she is 83 and doesn't want to go home she has Rheumatoid Arthritis what can I do it's so sad to see her upset she has the money to look after her self please some one help thanks

With RA, I'd suggest she speak with a migration agent who specialises in medical conditions - George Lombard and Peter Bollard are the two most frequently recommended in this area.

 

She needs to pass the Balance of Family test (generally more of her children live in Australia vs. elsewhere), and she needs to pass the medical. There's no getting around that, and DIBP will generally assess the medical based on potential cost to the government for treatment of her condition.

You have identified the visa you want, does she pass the balance of family test? If so, were it not for the RA, well she just needs to fill in the application form. However because of the RA, I agree that you would be wise to consult a registered migration agent.
