MaggieMay24 Posted October 11, 2015 Share Posted October 11, 2015 With RA, I'd suggest she speak with a migration agent who specialises in medical conditions - George Lombard and Peter Bollard are the two most frequently recommended in this area. She needs to pass the Balance of Family test (generally more of her children live in Australia vs. elsewhere), and she needs to pass the medical. There's no getting around that, and DIBP will generally assess the medical based on potential cost to the government for treatment of her condition. If so, were it not for the RA, well she just needs to fill in the application form. However because of the RA, I agree that you would be wise to consult a registered migration agent.
