When working full time for one employer for 6 months, what do you fill in for tax, resident or non resident? I think non resident, but someones work is telling them they are a resident and have fill it in incorrectly, and are now paying 30% tax instead of 20%.

thanks

Six months in one place does not definitively determine anything, it is just an indicator, amongst other things. But it is good grounds to claim residency ... at the moment. Soon a WHV will not be able to claim residency.

I havent looked lately, but I was not aware of Australia having a 20% or 30% tax rate.
