Alix Fisher
Hi - Myself and my bf are coming in september, starting off in Sydney for 10 days and then we don't really know where to go after that? We need to look for work (farming for me, farming or plumbing/construction etc for him) and we also want somewhere that isn't too hot but hot enough to get a tan lol .. We thought about heading up towards Queensland? Thanks in advance Alix
wakeboard1980
If it's September you arrive then head north, north QLD maybe, for a couple of months or 3 get your farm work done then head back down south for the summer.

It's a good time to go to Queensland, the weather is usually glorious in September and not too hot. However I'd vote for Darwin, as it's the best time to see the wildlife in Kakadu.
