Tomthepom1
Hi folks, We are preparing our budget for when we move over in Aug (to Melb) and I'm trying to figure out if Oz do Phone, Intenet and TV packages and if so, how much? But I'm not getting anywhere fast. Has anyone got any advice on this? Sorry If I've missed another thread on this. Thanks a lot. Tom

Tomthepom1
Thanks folks, I've found TPG too who just do phone and Internet at a good rate, I think. Is paid TV worth it? Or to put it another way is free TV acceptable on Oz?
NicF
Thanks folks, I've found TPG too who just do phone and Internet at a good rate, I think. Is paid TV worth it? Or to put it another way is free TV acceptable on Oz? Depends what you are used to. Personally I don't feel the need for paid TV but we are way behind on lots of good TV series so we just borrow them from the library for free. And the ones we aren't we get hold of in a different way. We did consider a new streaming service that is launching in Australia at $10 a month but our internet connection is so slow it wouldn't really work for us. All the sport we want to watch is on the free to air channels so don't need pay TV for that either.
Saviola
As an idea we have: TPG - Unlimted ADSL 2 - $59 Telstra - Phone - $25 Foxtel - Sports/Movies - $90 All seem pretty reliable and do what we need to do, and is less than we were paying in the UK. Tomthepom1
Thanks everyone, you've been really helpful. I think TPG sounds good with Freeview, at least for the first year while we settle in.
