North to South
Hi, As part of my research into schools in and around Melbourne I've pulled together a set of data that details a lot of information on the schools in some of the suburbs which maybe helpful to families moving to Melbourne with children of primary school age. Hope that this is useful..... School_Info.xls School_Info.xls
starlight7
Some unusual boundaries there! Might be better to look at the myschool website.

Simonr
This looks quite useful information, even if there are some (minor) errors as mentioned by others. A couple of questions on your research:- Where did you find the class size information? Is this on the school website? Is this figure fairly up to date? Also, could the class size be an indication that there is space in the school? For example, Aspendale Gardens has a class size of 23, would the limit be 30, therefore meaning there are 7 spaces in the average class? Or does the class size limit vary between schools? Petals
All this information is on the web and on council sites and school sites but it is still preferable to actually speak to the school. Its admirable that you have put the list together but there are lists on the education sites as well which give information. Class sizes change all the time with new pupils popping in and out with the itinerant work force so cannot be relied on. Anyway some teachers can teach a lot of children others struggle to teach at all. Just like everything its trial and error and the most important thing in finding a school is to find one where the child is happy. Happy children learn. buzzy--bee
Just a quick question - did you mean to include all the schools in each area or just some of them? For instance in Langwarrin, the primary school generally considered to be the best one is not on your list, but you may have a reason for that. North to South
Hi, This list was compiled by someone that works for me and I asked him to research data on areas I was considering moving too so I easily had some data available with phone numbers, emails etc. It may not cover all areas but I've found it useful when researching certain areas.
