I'm interested to know what money would people estimate is needed to live on once migrate. So I'm just going to throw it out there and say after you've been granted your visa and booked flights and transported furniture and all thats been sorted how much did you take or would you estimate you need to live on once you get there ie £10,000/£20,000?? Be interesting to see peoples different opinions.

How long's a piece of string?lol Over the years I've read on this forum,people going over with anything from £1,000 in their back pockets to £1,000's?Are you planning on buying a car?Have you got a job to go to?Are you staying with someone or going it alone?Which part of Oz?

I know how much I would need as an estimate, ie hiring car, rent etc just wondered what the average person estimates they need. I know lots different situations but was interested to see how far apart the figures:GEEK: would be.
