zakon Posted September 26, 2014 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Hi, visa type: subclass 189 (Skilled - Independent (SI 189)) Today after quite a wait, a CO has contacted me asking for Overseas Police Clearance - National. The strange thing is that the same scanned document has been attached on Elodgment profile page about 3 weeks back! On my profile page the status of this particular document has changed from Required to Requested. I plan to mail them the same scanned copy of the Overseas Police Clearance - National (PCC) but before that would like to know if anyone has gone through a similar incident. I had uploaded PCC upfront and CO still requested it. My agent asked for clarification as the same was provided already, CO replied that the PCC already provided was issued by city police authorities and is not the national level PCC. But in actual it was the only PCC i could provide according to the law in Pakistan, which i provided. Even here the PCC is only available from a particular city. Your answer helped me to clear the confusion. Thanks. I have contacted my consultant. Let's see how it goes from here. Would like to know a few things: After how many days/months did they grant you the visa from the date they asked for an Overseas Police Clearance - National?
