Superannuation question please

My partner and I have decided after 5 years of living in Australia it's time for us to go back home to the UK. I'm really not sure about what to do with our super accounts? To be honest, I've never really understood it totally!! I know it's not possible to claim it back as we are permanent residents. I'm just unsure about the best way to manage it now? Any advice would be really appreciated

As far as I know all you can do is leave it there until retirement age - do make sure you have removed any optional extras like life insurance, critical illness cover etc. (which are usually added by default unless you opt out) otherwise you could find there is nothing left in the pot paying for things you don't want or need.

I have registered to manage mine on-line and changed the address to my UK address - nothing to do but wait. The good news is mine went up in value in the past year and having a stake in two economies isn't a bad thing.
