tothemoon
Hi everyone. I am looking into moving to Oz early 2016 if possible as I am currently in my final year at uni doing my nursing degree and then have been advised to get some experience. I have a beautiful cocker spaniel boy who will be 11 or 12 depending on when I go and I am concerned the journey may be too much for him. Can anyone give me some advise please. ScotsQuine
In my opinion it would really depend on the health of your dog come 2016? We flew an 11 year old German Shepherd dog from America back to Scotland many years ago. He then had to go through 6 months in quarantine, which he came out of with no problems whatsoever. He then lived till a good old age of 15 and a half

They bounce back pretty quick. If he is healthy it should be no issue.
Que Sera Sera
I'd say ask your vet. They'll usually give you an idea if they think the dog will cope.
