ScotOz2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Share Posted March 18, 2014 hi all. just wondering what the best option would be for when i head to australia at the end of the year. iv had a look around. hostels are pretty cheap but so are roomshares. A lot of the room shares are about $600 a month. is this a good price to pay or should i be looking for hostels for my first month in australia? also, what good websites are available for me to use for looking at roomshares? thanks folks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't know about room share - might be more of a commitment, harder to get, I don't know. Stay in a hostel for a few weeks, then, if you get a job somewhere, find something more permanent to live? It's honestly not bad - I shared a room of 8 in London and it was mixed so there were some guys. It was absolutely fine thank god lol.
