Guest
This is always a good place to start http://www.daff.gov.au/biosecurity/cat-dogs Then find a decent pet shipper. Or look at doing it DIY if that option is still open to people. IIRC some airlines do not carry dogs unless shipped through an agent.

Bal67
Hi Jen, We too are using Petair and hope to be moving end of April/may as we have just sold house etc and are moving to Adelaide but the nearest place our dogs can go to is Melbourne where we plan to drive to when they are ready to be collected. Pet air are fab and go through everything step by step, I started the process last May and could do no more until now as soon as we got visa and house sold!! Any problems/queries they are on end of email, look on internet. If I can help further please let me know, we are shipping our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Maltese terrier x Shitzu over as we think they will help us to settle and really could not live without. BobPetairUK
Hey Jen Give us a call or drop us a line and we will help you out. Key thing is to get the rabies vaccination and rabies blood sample started early as we get lots of pets being stuck here because they are done a bit late. The rabies blood sample needs to be at least 180 days before the flight and so the rabies vaccination needs to be at least 7 months before the flight. or check out this link http://www.petairuk.com/australia'>http://www.petairuk.com/australia I hope that all helps and am pleased that we are doing a good job for you other folk as well:) Bob http://www.petairuk.com
