Going to phone Singapore airlines to book flight (soon as we have our visa) and ask them if we are allowed 40kg as we are emigrating.

CV with written references backed up by referees contact details & contactable times. Back-up copies as well as those on your laptop might be good idea given the current situation?

Hi Guys

lets see if anyone can beat this one.

When I emigrated 10 years ago, we flew Singapore Airlines. Our luggage weighed 175kg (yes one hundred and seventy five). It was me, my wife and kids (18 months and 5) and they charged us NO excess baggage!. I did have golf clubs as well though :D
