thekeans
Hi, Just read that for my husbands skills to be assessed we need to send certified copies, have read some old posts to get advice and it says to get the copies signed by a solicitor etc. Does the actual copy of the document have to be from the awarding body ie for a degree certificate? Also if you can just send scanned coloured copies as some people have said, my OH is a graphic designer so could photoshop the doc, surley they realise this my happen so this is not allowed. Guest Mayerflyers
You have to take originals of all/any certificates to the Solicitor/notary and get them to certify they have seen the original. Believe me its not worth doing anything else (scannning etc) because they will just reject your application and put you to the back of the queue!! thekeans
Thanks thats what I thought but wanted to make sure. As for scanning we would not have done that, I thought it was a bit odd when someone advised that as OH could alter the image so easily as its his job. Guest kia1
:wubclub:Hi you dont need to pay a solicitor to certify your docs just go to the court and get a justice of the peace to sign certify them its free we took all of ours there. paula
