Skills Assessed before new occupation list WA

Hi,

My job is on the occupation list for WA and I am about to submit my skills assessment form but I understand the list is about to be updated / changed.

My question is: if I submit my form and my job is taken off the list before it is approved what happens? Is it tough luck or as the process has started will I be ok?

Does anyone know when the new list is coming out?

thanks

Here is a copy of the role

149311 Conference and event organiser VETASSESS Available

Is there anyway to find out if the role will be on the next list?

Should I get my skills assessed now or wait for the new list so I don't waste ££

thanks

I travelled from VIC to WA and stayed here to complete my 1 year job experience to get my skills assessed. I had this worry each day for a year and a half living in WA that my skilled occupation may be taken of the WA list. Finally it didn't, got the skills assessed through VETASSESS (HR Advisor) and got WA SS.

My opinion would be, get your skills assessed. VETASSESS can take uptil 3-4 months to notify about your skills assessment. When the skills are assessed, you'll have more leverage to go for any state that has your occupation.
