stringostar
Hi guys. im 14 months into a 4 year sponsored 457 visa. I'm looking to get a loan for a car, for under 20k, but don't know where to go. I have been to a couple of dealer ships but they won't do finance without a 20 percent deposit.. That's money I don't have ! Can anyone recommend a bank to try and apply to a loan at. Thanks
Andrew from Vista Financial
Sorry stringostar I am not able to assist here as personal/car loans are not something that I deal with. Ronan20
We got a loan from NAB for a car, and we're on a 457. We had to show proof of income, our projected expenditure etc. No problem
Blackhorse
I also got a loan through NAB, on a 457. It took a bit of "to and fro'ing" to provide info and reassurances, the key seemed to be it needs a human processing it rather than say an online automated tick the boxes type application. Mongrel
I also got a loan through NAB, on a 457. All lending will only lend to the max of the visa and need a deposit , if not the interest will be higher
