wan2no
For ACT sponsorship it urges IELTS 6 if one is Canberra resident. My question is how much days stay will full fill Canberra resident ship requirement. If I go there in visitor visa will it suffice? If it is for 1-2 months will it do? blossom
I don't imagine so. On a tourist you are by definition a tourist and not a resident.
AnnetteV
If you are granted a visa with state sponsorship, you will have to live in ACT the first two years, morale obligation, not an legal condition at the moment.

The op is talking BEFORE getting state sponsorship, I think so they don't need to score as high in the IELTS?
AnnetteV
Just read in the guidelines canberra residents need 6 in the English test and overseas residents need 7. http://www.canberrayourfuture.com.au/portal/migrating/ Maybe the op is talking about working holiday visa?.
