Cubic
We're shipping from the UK to Oz in August. We got married a year ago and have about 20 wedding presents from our wedding last June that are unopened and stored as our house here is mid renovation. I know you're not meant to ship things that are under a year old, which these aren't, but as they're unused and in their original packaging they do look new. It'll be much easier to ship them in their packaging, but should I be removing the packaging and making them look less new to get past customs? KathB35
Ooh I didn't know that rule.... We're having a quote done next Monday, so I'll ask the removal people what they think...
calNgary
You should be ok with them, customs seem to be looking more for someone who has 10 plasmas, or half a dozen microwaves etc that would obviously be for re-sale. We brought a few items new still in their boxes and had no problems. If you are bringing alot of stuff, try taking some of the packaging out of the new stuff and use towels, bedding etc to compact them in, saves using a separate box for that stuff. Love Shoes
Agree with Cal, you should be ok, I personally wouldn't worry, they were gifts .... just unpack them and re pack is what I would do ....
