We did a recce, and fell in love with it. Also we have an 18 mth old daughter, is there any mother / toddler groups, outings, that i could join? I liked North Lakes too but am heading further up the coast to Caloundra! Have heard North Lakes called Little Britain as there are so many ex pats there, but it is a nice area. calNgary Posted February 16, 2008 Share Posted February 16, 2008 Hiya north lakes is known as little britain because it is popular for poms,, but if you like it who cares??lol,,its a lovely place but a little to compacted in for me ,,great if you want a low maintaince garden/courtyard,it has everything you need though except(according to the press) a shelter at the bus stop to protect you from the sun or rain!!!! lol Cal x Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
