I have just been granted a partner visa subclass 100, my wife, daughter and myself are moving to Perth on June 20th, I am a VW Audi mechanic and have been looking around for work in the Perth area, i have to go and see a few people when we arrive who are interested inn employing me, which is good news but i am unsure how i go about being able to work do i need to apply for a work number or is it all done through my passport and visa, here in the UK we need our National Insurance number to work just wondered if there is an equivalent over there, any help would be great
Rupert
You will apply for a TFN once you get here, from the tax office ATO.
Bumblebeem
And you can work without a TFN for a short while until it arrives, your employer will give you a form to sign should this occur Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
