Sort out your bank before you get here if you want to go with NAB then you just turn up at the bank and get a card and all that the day you get here, when you get here sort out your TFN, then once that's all sorted out go and find a job! And enjoy yourself. Brissy is a great city, I spent 4 and a half fun months there! Try not to spend every evening in the down under bar as lots of backpackers end up doing! I will be travelling to Brisbane in August on a WHV and getting off the plane not knowing any one in the city! What work are you going to go for? I'm an electrician by trade so reckon I'm going to go down the construction line but not sure how easy or hard it will be to get a job straight off. When are you travelling out?
