racht Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 Pardon my ignorance, just wondered if anyone could provide me with some advice about working over there. My OH will be the one applying for the visa and myself and our kids will be part of his permanent res visa. He will be employed at first. Eventually he will probably go contracting so, could anyone firstly advise how long it would be before he woud be allowed to set up his own company and, secondly, could I work self employed as the visa is not in my name and if so, how soon after we arrive?
