rigglet
Sorry if this topic has been done to death, however, if you'll permit me a quickie... Is it ok to provide your statements as a typed, printed document (then sign and date, and get each page witnessed). To my mind this would neither be a "on ordinary writing paper or a statutory declaration form" but I'm guessing that most people do it this way. LittleMissWildChild
Hubby and I just typed and printed ours and then signed the end page. We had no problems getting the visa. Hubby applied for the offshore partner visa. Edited March 27, 2013 by LittleMissWildChild
Peach
I also applied offshore. My partner and I only wrote a single statement (page and a half of A4) which we both signed. It was not witnessed. I was given my 100 visa without question.
Guest GeorgeD
Typed and signed is fine. You need to do the statements, but if you have a long history together and lots of documentary evidence of your relationship then your statemenmt can be brief. if you have spent lots of time apart or don't ahve much evidence, then you need to explain that away in your statement. There's no right or wrong length or format.
