tracyscotland Posted February 1, 2013 Share Posted February 1, 2013 Hi, I am a nurse, (since 2001), and hope to move to Australia with my husband and two children, (4 & 6). I have IELTS band 8 and positive skills assessment. We are trying to work out which visa to apply for 189/190 and if sponsored which state to apply too. I have 70 points without sponsorship so could go independent but will I be quicker going sponsored? We are interested in NSW and Victoria but how do I apply and how do I find out which would be best for my occupation/young families? We were initially looking at queensland but they are no longer sponsoring medical nurses. Any help would be appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DonnaC Posted February 1, 2013 Share Posted February 1, 2013 I would say the best thing to do is get online and have a look which area firstly has the best job opportunities for yourselves, closely followed by house prices and decent schools. Jobs have to be the most important I would say, because without that the rest isnt going to happen anyway! What 2 states are you looking at? Good luck!
