Whick Bank???

Hi, we are hopefully moving to Brisbane in March. We need to set up a bank account but which one do we use???

 

The main four ive heard of are;

 

Westpac, Commonwealth, NAB, and ANZ bank.

 

We want a joint account, a savings account and an account for each of our children (once we get there) If this makes a difference.

Id just open 1 main account ready for when you arrive and sort the rest once your here. We opened one with ANZ and they have been great, 6 years later we are still using them for most of our banking.

We used NAB, they are ok. I think the banks are much of a muchness really, same as in UK there is not one bank recommend above all the others.

Thanks for the replies. I think you are right they all seem pretty much the same

We are with NAB as they don't charge account keeping fees like the majority of the others, plus they tend to have more atm's around, unfortunately in oz banks still charge you if you don't use the atm for "your' bank.

'Which Bank' (as in the title of your thread) was the slogan of the Commonwealth Bank for years - must be fate that you open your accounts with them :cute:
