Irishgirl1
Hi I was wondering if anyone would have any information or advice on what to do, my brother got a passport in 1999 and hasn't needed to get a new one since but he is going away next year and can't find his old passport, we have looked on the passport website and we are a bit confused as to what he has to do, would anyone have any experience with this situation, it hasn't been stolen it is lost but out of date, not sure what he has to do. Thank you in advance for any info given, Laney x

Mongrel
You have to apply for another one , not a renewal if that makes sense
Irishgirl1
Thanks Mal that's what we were getting a bit confused with, will tell him to just get a new application and see how he goes from there, thanks again, Laney
Freckleface
I accidentally threw mine away and had to apply for a new one. I had to complete a stat dec and say what happened to it. Apart from that (and paying another fee to get a new one) it was no drama.
