Skani Posted November 22, 2012 Share Posted November 22, 2012 If you have an Australian Concession card (Centrelink, Health Care Card or Vets Affairs card) you can get prescriptions for $5.80. However, I don't know what the arrangement is for UK pensioners in Australia, ie. whether you automatically qualify because of some agreement with the UK or whether you have to qualify on a (low) income basis or whether it depends on your residency status once you have arrived.
