blobby1000
We have 4 weeks until we start our journey back.. I remember being in your situation... Best of luck... Flying to Perth to travel the East Coast though? Thats a long way round!! Cant see that it makes any difference if you go up it or down it though, but if you go up it, try to go as far up it as you can (dont stop at Cairns and dont stand at the waters edge admiring the view or you may become lunch!!!) Guest The Pom Queen
Personally I'd start at the bottom and work your way up the coast this way you will get the best weather.

Guest Rachy091
Only going to Perth first coz I have a friend there! Then will make my way to the east coast and head up! I have opened up an oz bank account, am I best to take a cheque over and put it in account that way, or transfer money while here between uk and oz accounts??! nickachu
I'm taking some cash to begin with (probably between 1000 and 1500AUD) and putting that in the account when I land, then doing a bank transfer once Im set up there. Think you get a better rate through the banks too.
BritChickx
Depends on how long you're staying in each area? Try to be down south during the summer months, it's very hot up north during the summer. So maybe work you're way across the south/east coast to vic and nsw and then eventually up to qld. BritChickx
FYI if you do want to fly from Perth to Cairns or vice versa, it's a 5 hour flight, it cost us $500 for 2 one ways.
Guest rainbow13
I have got a Mitsubishi Magna in Perth that I want to relocate to Melbourne. If you plan to travel on land, you may use the car, FREE of CHARGE and return it to me once you get to Melbourne. The car is still running well. But you need to look for a companion to travel with, not recomended to travel by yourself.
