Hi everyone,

A friend of a friend is arriving in Sydney around New Years and has 10 days camper hire to get to Adelaide.

She's asked for advice for an itinerary - Melb to Adelaide I'd be fine with, but Sydney I'm totally lost!!

Any suggestions??

Even if it's just places not to miss or places that are worth missing....

Cheers!

Definately canberra, melbourne, great ocean road, mount gambier and/or victor harbor.

it is possible to do the great ocean road in a day from early in the morning to evening, we did it over one day and an hour or so the next morning, including a helicopter ride, can't be missed!

At some point they should definately check out flinders rangers NP :)

as an alternative, sydney to canberra is about 3 hours, canberra to the snowies is about 3 hours, and then you can go on from there to melbourne, I guess it'd be another 5-6 hours (as an alternative to going round the coast). I love the snowies, but it's very dependent on preferences. Definitely go out of melbourne on the ocean road and then on up to adelaide round the coast.
