Roberts13 Posted December 28, 2007 Share Posted December 28, 2007 Hi, I'm currently working on my research of areas to possibly live when we make the move to OZ and wondered if anyone can recommend books on Queensland and Victoria or websites I can look at to get more indepth info about areas within these states. I have at the moment got books on Australia as a whole and Queensland but the descriptions about areas are breif and more on a tourist angle than living/working. O/H is an electrician and we will be coming over for work for him as we have toddler and a new born who I will need to look after. Also you'd be amazed at what you can find on youtube, type the name of any town, city etc in and there's loads of random videos of that area which'll actually let you see what the places are like. Google is great as well, don't just use the websearch though, look at the top left of the google homepage and click images.
