Guest T and family Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 have read that uk carseat may not be up to the same saftey group as oz seats and so if we have an accident involving a uk seat we will have problems with insurance,, can anyone help? should we leave in uk and buy when we arrive or are they okay to bring across??? my kids are 5 and 8
calNgary Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 We were told the seat must carry an australian kite mark to be valid in an insurance claim ,lots of the seats here a little different in they have anchor points to fasten to.I thought price wise they are pretty cheap so id buy one here, Cal x
Guest EM&M Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Cals right, they have a strap than must be anchored into the floor of the boot/hatchback etc. We bought one here but found that they dont really have the nice options of reclining etc which my britax had we paid $120 for a motherschoice brand in KMart (for a 1 year old).
