    Oh dear who let the graduate updated the DE processing times.... Clearly it's suppose to months and not days haha. Im DE and submitted application and nomination on 24 DEC... still nothing. 'She'll be right mate' says the immigration officer.. Who took over $6000 for my application. Shambles!!

    Spoke with my MA today. He tells me lots of RFI's recived this week asking for evidance that people are still in work and almost 15 PR approvals (mixed TRT and DE) across mixed employment sectors. Application dates range from Nov 2019 to April 2020. No proccessing order for time of lodgment or priority proffesssion, all seems random. Hope this helps.

    I cant see any of us receiving PR within the next 6 months. Only those in priority essential services such as doctors and nurses. Those in hospitality may have unfortunately lost thier oppertunity this year. If the Austrailian economy takes a turn for the worst, then I can't see 80% of us not getting PR for mulitple years. Similar to the 2008/2009 crisis. My MA told me most immigration staff have been redirected to assit with other gov services during this time.

    I have 2 years left on my 457 sponsorship visa. Does anyone have any input in regards to proccessing time. Will I be at the back of the proccessing pile? In this uncertain time it would be nice to have the security of PR. I'm just concerned I'll be waiting over a year for it..... DE 186 Date of application and nomination 20th Dec 2020 Onshore Civil Engineer 2 applicants.

    Hi Guys, Civil Engineer, DE, applied for nomination and visa Dec 20th 2019, 2 x applicant, from UK, onshore. On 457 now, 3 years left on visa. Do certain professions get processed quicker than others? How do I check on my visa application status, immi account doesn't show anything. I used an MA. However I can see fees paid for 186 by MA but nothing else. Thanks
