    Hello everyone,

    I have just a question.

I’m having a newborn and my 186 visa were approved March 2021.
I’m afraid I won’t be able to come back and  finish those 2 years with employer after visa being granted.

Anyone having similar experience with leaving employer or work only part time after visa being granted?

    Thank you

Definitely you have to work for employer. Doesn't matter if its full time or part-time.

hyyy guys I am in bridging visa a and my visa restrictions for work has been changed so how can I changed

Need to see what visa previously u were on and what visa u applied. Does your previous visa still active?

That’s fine. At least it will be on file and then I can complain again.
Going from this site and applications being approved there are many which are not priority applications.
I’m rural and if trying to actually keep the people that are rural in work and stay in work then I’d imagine turning over visas would be a priority.

I m in rural since last 4 years. Even after complaining heaps of times nothing heard so far. On top my MA asked Employer to raise concerns thru Area MP to Immigration minister still no response.

So I’ve been on AAT for two years. The decision was overturned business nomination was approved in may. I’m still waiting for the PR side to be approved.

Now I do realise that with covid restrictions in NSW that’s offices may not be processing, however global processing is happening for other visas.

my question for agents is , are offices in parramatta in Sydney still processing visas?  My agent told me due to the restrictions that they wouldn’t be and I wouldn’t have any answer until after restrictions. Her best advice to me “ What to do?  Encourage everyone you know to get vaccinated!” This was in response to me asking. To file a complaint on file. They have everything for me, it’s literally needs the file to be approved .

i have lost all faith in this agent to be honest. If her response is correct then I’ll bide my time but would like a clear answer other than telling me to spread the word on vaccines 🤦‍♀️

Even if u complain there will be standard reply. Department is only processing priority list applications.

    Hi there,

I passed my Australian cert 3 in carpentry in September 2016, I'm wanting to start the emigration process again after getting divorced in 2018 and now feel ready for the move obviously once borders have reopened.

Will my cert 3 in carpentry still be valid or do they have an expiry date? Meaning sitting the tests again.

    Thanks for any input.

    Rich.

You need to get your experience letters plus payslips and get your skills assessment done firstly.

Second step after positive skills assessment comes pathway to PR depending on various factors like age, experience,  etc.

Hi Guys, thank you so much. My timeline is

    Nomination applied March 16 2018

    visa applied March 17 2018

    medical done March 27 2018

    occupation cook

and after that nothing happened until July 2021 after waiting for so long as well nothing was happening. So I was pretty upset and talked to my lawyer and said I want to apply 186 direct entry in the mean time I have done skill assessments done for chef as I had no hope that I am gonna get my visa. I was so frustrated that I told my migration lawyer that I want to withdraw and apply another visa. Then my lawyer suggested me one thing which turned the whole world for me and I am so thankful to her.
my lawyer told me if I have already prepared to lodge 186 direct entry from same employer and they were ready to re sponsor me as well. So, my lawyer suggested that we should lodge a formal complaint to the Department of home affairs, but she did mention to me that 90% time they reject the application when they lodge the complaint and I said I am ready to face the consequences as I was prepared to apply  new visa anyway.
so we lodged the complaint on 15 of July 2021.

And we got the reply back from DHA for further documentation on 20/7/2021 which was few financial documents of the company. Then 23/07/21 they requested for my police clearance and medical as it was both expired. Then We submitted my medical and police clearance on 2/08/21. And I got my nomination approved on The same day 2/8/21. But did not grant my visa.
waited 7 days and logged another complaint on 1508/21 and I got my visa granted on 18/08/21. And this is the date I will never for for the rest of my life. Hope this gives some hope and strength to many of you waiting for the visa. And pray for you guys as well. Thank you so much and have a good day guys.

Congratulations mate. This will really help.

    Hi All,

Please help ..my hearing happened on 04 Aug for Restaurant Manager 187 Nomination  and AAT gave time until 25 Aug for more documents after hearing

Submitted Business additional documents on 18 th August 2021

can anyone advise is it a positive sign that Aat requested more docs after hearing?

Did someone else had the same experience that AAT needs more docs after hearing?

    Thanks in advance

I think its good sign. If all docs provided than you are thru for sure. Its my opinion as following thread and hearing good news. They always want to confirm reg job and company. Good luck bud.

Yeah but they finalised applications within 33 month right ????

And I haven't got anything from aat for even submitting a document

Every where there is delay so patience is only key at the moment. Have seen peoples waiting for 18 months after nominations approvals as well. Only wait and chinup. That's all mate.
