Hello everyone. Hope you are all doing fine and staying safe in this global pandemic.

    visa and nomination applied feb2017

    refused aug 2018

    aat application sep2018

file opened in aat feb 2021

    telephone hearing June 2021

employer was not answering his phone call, later he came on call and left with excuse to take his wife to hospital. Member adjourn the hearing for next available date up on our request.
employer withdraw the nomination application july2021.

aat replied with the letter stating that we can comment and send a reply. Which I don’t know what does that mean.
does this means that I can request aat for any favourable visa? as my hearing went fine that day but employer ran off.
I heard some stories few years ago that visa applicants requesting aat member and getting some visa to move in regional and work which worked out in end. Is it still possible? Anyone with any answer is welcome. Thanks.

As far as my knowledge Aat cant grant visa. But once nominations withdrawn by employer nothing much left. But still consult a REGISTERED MARA AGENT.

I applied January 2018, we have called the department, and they said that there is nothing they can do, I just have to wait patiently, even thought my application is over the processing time, but I could be the 10% failing out of the time frame.

I got same reply applied Dec 17. Hope our prayers will be heard soon. Praying for everyone.

    hi  all,

Iam  very tensed , I applied for AATin June  2019 for 187 direct entry refusal , I contacted my migration agent  for asking how to prepare for AAT  well advance , they said they can't  submit any documents now until AAT member open my case and ask for documents  and asked me to wait . is this true ? did anyone submitted supporting documents and evidences well advanced ? My position is a contract Administration and I have been working more than 3 years  in this position . my employer is very supportive , should I change my migration agent ?

    Hii

I don't think you need to change ur migration agent. Current waitin times in AAT is above 900 days. As soon as ur case opens you will be asked to submit documents so no worries if u are working with employer. Take it easy. No stress.

    Cheers

    I have updated my signature.

I've been in and out of this forum for over 2 years and I know how long some of you have been waiting. Just know your time will come.

    Good luck everyone 🤞

    Congratulations mate. Take care.

    Hey guys,

I am newbies on this site but have silently followed for few months. Below is my case and it would be so much appreciated if anyone could assist or give me any idea.

187DE lodged on 14/06/17 as per Cafe Manager in WA. Nomination and visa application were lodged as same date.

21/01/19: CO sent Nomination refusal letter without asking anything with the ground that the manager position wasn’t necessary as owned by 2 owners. Ofcourse it is kinda ridiculous reason for what i have done and still doing this. We do have all the records from business, the owners’ personal circumstances and local community evidence to prove the position is genuine and essential.

Anyway, AAT review was submitted on 21/02/19. Since then, we havent heard anything from them. However, 08/20, we uploaded further evidence including updated business financial statements, payroll system, reference letters and medical records of one of the owners.

In short, it has been more than 27 months after the AAT review being submitted, we havent heard anything.

So here i am...i do wish to hear any comments from you guys. Any suggestions are more than welcome as i have been desperately waiting for this case.

I have noticed that alot of people in here have got hearings or finalised case after such a lengthy waiting period. I believe the date of AAT review and AAT contacts aligning with nominated occupation and state are something helpful to track down where we are. Does anyone have this?

Thank you for spending your time on my post and look forward to seeing your comments

    J

    Hii

    Ahaha ok I got it.

what about writing some complaint to Department? Complaint about the delay... it’s been a year without any information

Department is useless. I did that and for third complaint I received acknowledgement that already first complaint is registered dont contact Department again and again. They are least worried in answering first rather they took time answering rest. Terrible.....no words

Yes I’m waiting since April/20. We won on 23 of April 2020. AAT sent back to Immi, after a week our nomination was approved.

2 weeks ago they ask for medical as we have already send Polices last year. So we did medical last week and still waiting.

it’s been a year since won AAT. Very sad 😞

Thats terrible mate. Same here mine approved last year March. But nothing heard so far. Now my MARA agent says to escalate matter with company to ask Area MP to take up matter with Immigration Minister.
