You will receive an email/letter from your local council about a month before your ceremony with details of where and when. This may take up to six months or longer, so now you need to just wait. If in the future, your ceremony gets cancelled due to covid, DOH may send you a virtual ceremony invite.

It will be on your approval letter.

Hi everyone, I have a question about requesting an urgent ceremony if someone has experience with this. I am wondering if it is possible to request an urgent ceremony (virtual) based on wanting to apply for a government job that requires applicant to be an Australian citizen. I read somewhere that if you have a job offer conditional upon you being a citizen, then the department may consider that, however, in this case, the job description says the applicant must be a citizen to be able to apply. Hi Everyone, Thought I would share my timeline after my application was approved today. Citizenship applied - 08 June 2021 Test Invite received - 07 July 2021 for 05 August 2021. Rescheduled Test to 12 July 2021 Test Passed and Application approved in immi account straight after - 12 July 2021 Current location - Brisbane Nationality - New Zealand Now awaiting formal approval letter and ceremony.
