  1. Are you sure?? I didn’t think there was a condition like that on the visa? I thought you could have a second job as long as your contract allows it. Anyone else know more about this??
  2. I’d check with the MA if I was you. The button mightn’t have been available before. I would think your status would change to Further assessment after providing the requested info but I don’t know for sure.
  3. Up to you really. That was my initial thought too. I didn’t know about this forum at the time and now I’ve had a good look at the spreadsheet for 186 I realise the people that apply for their visa before the nomination is approved are definitely being processed faster. That said, a lot seems to have changed since April with some applications taking less then 2 months to get approved.
  4. I have. I regret it now though, I could be in for another long wait. If you haven’t lodged anything yet and your nomination chances are looking good I’d definitely recommend applying for both at the same time.
  5. @KLE it shouldn’t bother you so much if you have the intention to stay with your employer for 2 years. Have another read of what Hex said because I think that comes as close to the answer you want to hear as you can get.
  6. That’s funny @KLE Doesn’t say that when you look here: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/employer-nomination-scheme-186/temporary-residence-transition-stream#About
  7. Hi @KLE I’m pretty sure you got that from the 187 visa. I just had a quick look at 186 TRT and it doesn’t say they might cancel the visa if you leave your employer. It does mention they expect you to stay with your employer for two years but I think Hex explained well how it would work.
  8. Are you sure about this?? I would think you lose your bridging visa as soon is a decision (grant or refusal) is made??? Better ask an MA to be sure
  9. Hi Raul, I was wondering why a nomination is at risk when being managed by the employee that is nominated? I have lodged both my own nomination and visa application. The nomination has been approved, just waiting for the visa now. Hoping it won’t have any effect on the outcome!! Thanks!
  10. You can see in your Immi Account under Health assessment whether it’s been cleared or if you need to follow something up
  11. I think someone else on here made a complaint to Immigration? I would explore that option first. They say not to contact within processing times which you have exceeded by a year now so I think it would be fair. Good luck!! No there is no refund
  12. Hi Hex, I understand that and also read it earlier. There is a difference between getting your numbers up and running out of numbers(/visas) though I think both have happened.
  13. Anyone else think they might have reached their total number of visa’s available for the financial year and are therefor focusing on the nominations? Hopefully when July comes around there will be more visa grants!
  14. I hear you @AndreaG I was patient for my nomination but now that’s been approved I’m so anxious to get the visa approved!! Even checking this forum every hour, I’m going mad haha. I keep reminding myself it might take another 10 months but wishing it comes through this week! If only..!
  15. Thanks Michelle! It seemed to me that if you lodge your visa before your nomination gets approved you are still going to be processed similar to the people that have lodged both at the same time. But when people waited till after the nomination was approved they had to wait for another 9-10 months for their visa from what I’ve seen in the spreadsheet. Good luck!! I hope you get your approval soon
  16. Hello everyone I’ve been reading along for a little while. I lodged my nomination on 26 June 2018 and I decided to wait with my visa - which I REALLY regret now! They requested more info 16 Feb 2019 which we supplied within the 28 days. The nomination was approved on 12 April 2019 by NSW PSE. I then had to resit my English test and I lodged the visa application on 20 May 2019, medicals were cleared on 31 May. I’m a bit concerned they might take another 10 months to finalise the visa. My occupation is Horse Trainer which I couldn’t find in the spreadsheet at all. I don’t think cases can be compared but some indication of another horse trainer would have been nice .
