Hi ,
Confussion on eligibility of citizen ship.
Just looking for a bit of help about application of citizenship.
I came to Australia in May 2015 on 457 and got my PR in May 2019. so I was in Australia from last 5 years with out any major breaks apart from few vacations. So I got the eligibility to apply for citizen ship.
I have a kid of age 3 years(who also has PR) was born in India and travelled to Australia during his 8th month. So he stayed in Australia for 1.4 years and went back to India when he was 2.1 years.
From last 1 year he was in India, while applying for citizen ship I saw kids below 12 years don't require to meet the criteria of staying 4 years in Australia. So I am thinking to lodge my citizen ship application this week. Can I lodge my kids application along with me ? or I need to lodge my individual application?
I searched immigration site and did not understood clearly. So if some one clarifies here, could be really helpful.
Thanks
Suren.

@itsme16may how did u go with your application? i am in same situation
Hi @JenniferSiders,
@itsme16maylogged to this forum long back, so don't know whether you can get reply from him on his current status. As @Nemesis suggested, please go with any good Migration agent. As a suggestion, Please don't disclose this information in any public forums and better to consult a good MA ASAP.

During the medical examination, did GP raised any concerns with him?

Hey Guys,
I have got a question, I have gone through a MA, and I have no visibility as to what is happening with nomination or my application.
I read some where that I can actually import the application to my immi acccount just have a look at if there any updates myself.
Is this true? I am concerned as my agent left the company there is a new agent in her place and i do not get any updates from the new agent.
Also I am seeing many other accountants who have applied after me and got their grants or at least nomination approved.
Any advice or comments please.
Thanks in advance,
Kashyap
Hi @kashyap,
Create an account in immi(https://online.immi.gov.au/lusc/login) and after login import the application by giving some details like reference number, passport , DOB and passport issue country. Anyhow, you cannot see Nomination approved details in immi account. If any updates from CO to your application then you can find it in immi account.

Hi Sure,
Congratulation to you and your family.
Do they request medical before the approval of nomination? Do your nomination and visa got approved at the same time?
Thank you.
No, My nomination got approved 2 months back. My MA mentioned that, but I am not sure on exact Nomination approval date.

I am glad to say my PR got finalized.
After passing so many hurdles it got finalized.
During this Journey, this forum is very helpful and cleared many of my questions.
Out of my experience I would like to share one experience with you guys. If your's 457 expired and waiting for 186 approval, then immediately raise a request for bridging B visa(although if you travel or not travel outside of Australia) so that they can check and process your application. Initially, I did not believed it, but after analyzing so many cases I believed and raised the request for bridging B. After raising Bridging B, within one week I got a request from case officer regarding my son's medical. Once I have submitted it, within 3 days my VISA got approved.
It's my analysis if you feel irrelevant please ignore it.
All the very best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Sure - I have looked back at your posts, it appears you need to organise the medical for your child? Was this already completed? If you provide some more information we can probably help or as I mentioned above you can ring the general immigration helpline.
Hi @sydneyishuk,
Yes I have completed medicals to my kid in November 2018. I can see that medicals got cleared to my kid when I login to my medical application.
Medical application:
But, when I login to my PR application it is still showing as "Organise Medical check". So I am confused and thinking the HAPID mapped to my kid might be wrong and need to be updated. Could you please help me if you know anything like this. Thanks.

Hi @Sure
Please update your signature to include the following (instructions can be found in my signature).
Occupation:
State:
Birth Country:
Stream:
Number of applicants:
ENS 186 Nomination applied:
Visa Application submitted:
IMMI Status:By the looks of things you only applied in October 2018, whereas @123stella was an April 2017 application - hence why her MA probably had some leverage.
However in your case no point contacting department when you are well within the processing times.
Hi @sydneyishuk,'
I am not worried about the processing time, my questions are related my medicals. When I see my health application health assessment got cleared to all of us.
But, still I am seeing Organise Health examinations link to my kid. In one of the forum, some one said that there might be some issue with my HAPID mapped to my kid and they asking us to raise a request to "Immi account technical support forum". When I said the same to my MA she mentioned we cannot contact department, so I want to take a opinion from other expert MA.

Have no idea, MA did. Sorry..
Hi @123stella,
If you don't mine could you please share your MA details, I want to check my scenario also. I discussed many times with my MA and she mentioned there is no way to contact the department.
Thanks.

If you've gone to Bupa with your HAPID for the relevant people on the Visa application you should be fine.. There were some notices a while back saying to disregard any notifications around health examinations if they had already been completed.
However, if you are unsure, pleas check with a registered and reputable MA.
Thanks @BB88.

Hi,
I am new here. Could anyone please help me on my below query.
I have applied my 186 visa on 18/10/2018 and completed my medical on november 12th. My health assessment shows every thing is clear rearding my medicals, but when I login to mi immi account it is still showing medicals are required to my kid. Please see below screen for ref.
My case got last updated on 5th March 2019, but no CO contact me on this. Also, I am seeing a yellow color flag on my case when login in immiaccount.
Please anyone let me know if anyone knows about it. Thanks .
Could someone please let me know if you know anything on my above post?

Thanks @KazBaker. So you mean it does not matter even my kid is outside of Australia when I am launching my application where he has valid PR ?
Also, based on your explanation I understood kids u16 will automatically gets eligibility when one of the parent has eligibiliy.
Thanks once again !!!!
