  1. I’ll have my birthday after Christmas. Hopefully I won’t be using that strategy. Lol
  2. I think it's possible. It's now less than 3 months left for this FY, which is exactly within the range of "shortly" in department's language.
  3. I agree. Especially now it's close to election, and Coalition is in danger of failure. Some of the PR applicants today will likely to become Australian citizens in future. People will remember if the Coalition immi department let them wait for too long and caused them too much unnecessary pain, and they will vote against them in the future. But if the department can approve as many applications as possible within this FY's quota, it will get less complaints, and everyone will be happy.
  4. Hi. Congratulations! Could you please share a little more information by providing your occupation, state, stream(TRT or DE) and timeline(nomination and visa) so that someone could add you in the spreadsheet which could help other people? Thanks.
  5. Same question. I know that immi used to send acknowledgment emails when a case officer is assigned. Not sure if that’s still the case, and not sure if MA receives some emails when a CO is assigned.
  6. Some people just helped to re-organise the data according to nomination date, cause the waiting time starts from the nomination.
  7. I agree. I’m just guessing if it has any impact and there’s no data that I can see. Just ignore my post, since no one has said it’s a factor anyway.
  8. Right. Normally no one will tell you if you haven’t asked. But just in case if some people happened to know, and it’s not a secret I think cause it only has 2 options which doesn’t point to any of the company’s financial details.
  9. Providing training spending is hard, because that’s directly linked to the company’s payroll. I believe most applicants don’t know their company’s payroll. But SAF amount is easy, it’s just either 3000 or 5000.
  10. Hi everyone. Just a suggestion. I’m not sure if processing time can be affected by the amount of SAF paid, eg 5000 SAF applications get processed faster than 3000 ones. Is it OK to add a SAF column to the spreadsheet, and people can share the information if they know how much SAF the company paid. I believe knowing the amount of SAF is much easier and more common than knowing the company’s actual turnover.
  11. @art Can you please update your signature? And which state did you apply from? @Hex Can you please help him with adding to the spreadsheet? Thanks.
  12. He has already got his PR, people just asked him which state he applied from.
  13. Did he mean applications after 12 August that need to pay SAF versus before 12 August, or applications submitted after 12 August without paying SAF and CO asked for it versus paid SAF at the time of submitting nominations. I’m not even sure if it’s possible to submit the nomination without paying the SAF and let CO ask for it.
  14. Did he mean applications after 12 August that need to pay SAF versus before 12 August, or applications submitted after 12 August without paying SAF and CO asked for it? I’m not even sure if it’s possible to submit the nomination without paying the SAF and let CO ask for it.
  15. Hi amandat What did you mean by skilled levy? Can you please update your signature with your occupation and other details please?
  16. Me too. We are panic it labour, checking this forum every day. Every time my colleagues say PR, they mean pull request, but I think permanent residency.
  17. Yes, I agree as well. I didn’t know that there were so many fake applications before coming to Australia. I personally worked in 2 other countries before, all lawfully of course, and had permanent residency in both of them. Every time I said that I was sponsored by an employer, no one would think about anything strange before. However, when I talked to someone working as a migration agent here in Australia, his first thought was that I made fake applications to work in those countries before, and I’m about to make another one, cause he had done a lot of them. Don’t you think there are some problems in Australian immigration politics that make it easy for people to make fake applications, and make people who work totally lawfully wait for a long time? There are lots of ways they can verify the application, like what other countries do, and no need to make people wait for so long, I believe.
  18. ANZSCO 599512: Immigration Officer is not eligible for 189, 186, 187 or 482 visa. That’s why!
  19. I think VIC trends to be faster. Maybe it’s because people working in VIC can apply for 190 if they have been working on their 457 for more than one year. So they don’t need to apply for 186, if their occupation is on the list.
  20. I’m not sure how many silent readers are there, but I think there are lots of people who are waiting are not on the spreadsheet, they may only speak on the forum and then be put on the spreadsheet after they receive their gold email. So the spreadsheet can potentially show a higher finalised rate, especially for the recent months. What do you guys think?
