    Thanks for your long reply. I think you will be getting your PR soon since everything is ready. It has taken the extended amount of time probably because of the auditing, which was required by the immigration I think. Don’t waist any energy waiting for the visa. It will come eventually, for sure.

    Hey. I’m a little worried about how long it will take the department to verify our NZ police certificates with MOJ. NZ police certificates are quite special, they only valid for 6 months and they need to be verified with a third party (NZ MOJ). I’m assuming that CO will come back to our files about 28 days after sending us s56, and when he comes back, he then send a request for verification (basically similar to another s56) along with our consent forms to MOJ, and then wait for another 28 days before coming back to our files again.

    Hi. My story was nomination approved on 3rd April, and requested for NZ and Canadian police certificates and proof of relationship the same day, status changed to initial assessment. I provided everything yesterday and MA uploaded them today, status immediately changed to further assessment. Have you been asked for additional documents twice? Were they both sent to you/your MA as “s56 request for additional documents”, and was the status shown as “received” for the first time? Did you apply for your visa after your nomination was approved?

    Hey. Are you still waiting for your visa? It has already been more than a month since you provided your updated police certificates. It's too long just for verifying police certificates.

    Yes, I know. But I’m more concerned about how long it takes DoHA to verify NZ police certificates, as it seems to be an unique step for DoHA to verify it with MOJ (for which the MOJ consent form is used) that only applies to NZ police certificates.

    Did you use that fast method? I think you can only get a clean state certificate if you use third party service, not a full record one. However DoHA requires a full record one.

    Thank you very much. I hope immi will accept ours as well. Joint account is never in our mindset. I’m really curious that how come joint is useful in daily life? What’s wrong with each person having his or her own bank account and credit card?

    Thank you. Did immi accept that your document was sufficient? I have proof of any other aspects in the checklist, apart from the financial part.

    Thank you very much. I am so worried because I saw articles on the internet that financial commitments are the most important aspect. And we don’t write emails to each other. Normally we just send iMessages or do FaceTime (both don’t show on telephone bills).

    No, they just requested for additional documents. I guess my MA will upload it online. Have you already provided the documents to them?

    Thank you very much. I am so worried because I saw articles on the internet that financial commitments are the most important aspect, but we really can’t have anything to prove that (no joint account, no joint property). We always go shopping together, so I always use my credit card.

    Hi everyone. Please help! MA told me that our nomination has been approved but CO requested proof of relationship. But we don’t have any joint account. What shall I do? How can I show our financial commitment? Is joint account statements really so important? Many thanks in advance!

    According to what your agent said I believe the email is a good indicator of which applications are going to be processed soon. Because normally automated emails should be scheduled before sending out. For example, my company usually scheduled emails about 2 weeks prior to sending them. So at the time of scheduling, those processed/finalised applications were about to be processed.
