Hi to everyone, I am an Italian Hairdresser and I applied for PR almost 11 months. At the moment I didn’t receive any news from the immigration. I was wondering if any hairdresser here is on my similar situation or even worse. Its frustrating because many of my friends that applied after me, they received already the golden email after 5.5 months or 7 months but no more than 8 months. They apply as pastry chef, cafe manager, tiler and butcher. Is someone in my similar situation? thanks in advance

So everyone are talking about 187......... which is sound fair enough for a skilled visa. What about 186? I never heard an 186 refused for this reason. Am I wrong? It makes sense why immi is still asking for payslips and so on to the applicants!!!! looking forward to hear from you

So can I ask your opinion? Why the immigration is still asking payslips and Payment Summary at all the PR applicant if they can check by themselves? thanks

As I said we are talking about ATO data matching no Immigration. Only if they (immigration) are not sure about an application they, as you said, have all the weapons to find out the truth.

If you check on google “link between ATO and Immi” you will find a big page of ATO website that explain what I’m saying...... let me know

No they can’t see PAYG and payslips. Otherwise why immi are still asking us to show proof that we have been working in a specific place? Is the ATO that is linked with immi so they can see if employers are paying the superannuation.

They are linked since 2015. However they are linked with ATO just to double check if superannuation has been paid.....

Guys no one knows..... i can tell that the only thing is complain to the immigration because when the immigration website (official) say that for the 186 visa processing time is 12/13 months after that you have to send millions of emails to ask what happening. this is no fair for our life. i wish I could go to the court to complain against them

Mate you should ask your lawyer to send an email to the immigration.

I’m an Hairdresser in Sydney. I applied 10months ago for PR through 457 and still nothing! any others Hairdresser waiting longer than me? Did they call the salon? Thanks in advance

Are you an Hairdresser? Do you live in NSW? what did they ask to your employer? Did you apply through 457 visa? When did you apply for PR 186?

I read about high risk jobs somewhere here but, you know it’s just a think said by people. Nothing confirmed

Can they come to check if you are working there and asking questions to your boss?

Mate, its not a 187 it is a 186 through the old 457 visa sponsored. So processing time could be from 6 months to ....... I wish to know!

Hi guys, I’m an Hairdresser and I apply for PR last April 2018. After 10 months still nothing from immigration. I read a few people talking about “high risk positions “ and hairdresser was one of these. can someone explain what this means? There are others Hairdresser that has been waiting more than me? A friend of mine apply as coffee manager and after 5.5 months is PR was approved. Same company same position a colleague of him apply December 2017 and she is still waiting!!!! Why? Doesn’t make sense....
