i don't know about the status because  i never asked my MA 😞 but as my nomination has been granted  and they  ve already asked s56, well, i guess it changed in further assessment....

Since your waiting that long..I would suggest you check on your own immiaccount...

Just coz they asked for s56 that doesn't mean it will change to further assessment. Some people are still on received, so only by checking your status you would know if your file has progressed in the queue or it is still waiting to be looked at by a case officer.

    Hi everyone

does anyone know if dha requests for more documents for nomination what’s the minimum deadline mean days to submit documents?

Generally it's 28 days but depending on the documents they've asked for, you could ask for an extension of time.

    Hi mark23,

Will this changed affect the applicant who had approved nomination??? Thanks in advance 🤗.

I don't think it should affect applicants who have had their nomination approved because that means that they file has already begun processing. The other thing is that this timeframe is just an estimate, there are many applicants who have got their visa in 6-7 months and there are a few unfortunate ones who are still waiting over 35 months.

Did anyone realised the processing time increased from 21 to 23 months to 25 months. Anyone have any idea why this is so ?

This time frame keeps changing every few months depending on the load of application...a year back it was 17-19 months, now they will have a surge of application because this visa is shutting down in November, most likely by December the timeframe will decrease again.

Hi, if you are requested for health examination....it has to be done within 28 days right? Does this mean the result has to be submitted and available to DHA within the time? Or can you just get it done in 28 days? My husband is main applicant and he says he is very busy with his work. Next time he can get out from his work for medical is like 24 days later...

That should be fine...as long as you go for your medicals before the 28 days, there shouldn't be any issues. Once the medicals are done it usually gets uploaded within 3 working days...so you will still be within the 28days.

My RCB has been submitted its been almost 5 weeks and still no news...

    I am applying from NT.

We are waiting on this to come through to lodge the visa and nomination..

    Anyone can relate?

Don't wait... lodged your application for your nomination and visa...your wasting time...you will get your RCB anytime now up to 12 weeks, but even if it's a negative result for your RCB, you can submit another application even after your nomination and visa have been filed. There is also a possibility that your nomination can be approved without a RCB.

The employer is the applicant for the nomination, so it's quite possible the employer is paying the MA fees, not the visa applicant.  And it's also quite possible the nomination refusal contains confidential business information that is not disclosed to the visa applicant.  Hopefully the MA has given a general summary of why the nomination was refused, but at the moment it's the employer's situation to deal with at AAT.

You are partially correct, it's a general assumption that the employer is the nominator and applicant and they are supposed to pay all charges related to the visa applicant- this includes:

    - RCB

    - Nomination (no fees required)

    - Visa application (only for the primary applicant)

    Migration Agents fees (professional fee)

Unfortunately there are many employers who are willing to sponsor but not willing to pay all these related fees. The burden of this then relies on the visa applicants.

This is not just small organisation I'm talking about, I personally was sponsored by a 5star resort and hotel, but in the past they has sponsored 2 employees who walked out on them mid-way of the application so from then on they have decided not to pay any expenses for any employee being sponsored. I'm sure there are many people on this forum who will understand what I'm talking about and regards small companies in various fields do exactly the same thing who show immigration that they paying for the applicant but indirectly make the applicant pay for it.

I got a bad news today my nomination got refused today. I got a call from my migration agent around 12:30pm about my nomination refusal and I asked him for the email which he got from immigration about refusal and he denied to send me that, he said that its confidential its related to the business not to the applicant .

My timeline 27feb 2018 as restaurant manager 187 in regional WA

I checked my immi account after 9 hours and the status still shows received, nothing changed. I'm bit worried and confused . Anybody been through this situation please reply. 🙏🙏🙏

This is strange...if ur nomination is approved or rejected...even though the nomination is addressed to the employer, it's your right to view this letter so that you can prepare what you require for the AAT. Your agent is being overly professional and a little stupid, I'm sure you are paying your MA fees not your employer right - remind them this.

    Hi guys,

My employer is giving me only 15-20 hour's in a week after the grant of VISA instead stating that business is under deficit.

    Visa grant- in feb

    Occupation- Restaurant manager

I am happy to work with him upto my extent but I am still worried. Any suggestions please.

    Thanks

It's nothing to be worried about, if it's not your fault, you are free to find another job in the same occupation and the same regional state, for this your visa will not be affected in anyway as your employer is not complying with the regulation of the the contract.

    waiting is .....!

What's the turnover of ur business and how many staff are working there... sometimes this plays a role in the decision time aswell

I think it’s hairdressers and massage therapists’ turn now. 😁

Don't worry Carmen...it's definitely your turn next...by the way I think immigration will ask you to do medicals again.

And once you get your visa, hopefully your owner sells the business and you will be free to go your own way😊👍

Yep got your point but every individual has there own importance in organisation.👍😊

but processing time should be same for each occupation.

Hey that was just a joke...but from what I have observed ever 3 months there is a certain occupation that is granted more than others... I've seen Restaurant Managers / Retail Managers get their visa Dec-Feb, the Mar-May there were lots of Child care related occupations that got their visa's and now it's Cooks/Chef may be they will be lots more till August...of course this is just my observation...I could be wrong 🤔

    Hello everyone

hopefully all are going well. Just wondering why occupation like cook are getting more priority in opening either than other occupations?

Feeling worried is there any possibility for Restaurant manager?

Because without the Restaurant Manager the establishment can still run to some extent but without the Chef and Cooks the restaurant needs to be closed🤣😂🤔👍

    Congratulations on your visa!!

So are you saying that you applied for RCB advice, employer nomination and visa at the same time? Can this be done?

Yes it can be done... doesn't really matter which one is done first...some applicants have their visa lodged before starting with the RCB and Nomination being lodged.

    Hi there

Please somebody could advise me how could I create hap Id for my health examination. I tried on immi account under health declaration but couldn’t find out my visa class(187). Please if someone has the idea; please share. Thanks in advance

You click on Health Assessment and then beside each applicant there will be a link that says Organise Health Examination.
